Anarchy Rules Out
October 8th, 2002
Wow, what a weekend in college football! I don't remember more of an even playing field in college football since Washington won the National Championship in the only year that the USA/ESPN poll and the AP poll picked different national championships. This year could be the next, mark my words.
Ok now on to my weekly national chamionship list that is still on track: NC State, Iowa State, Oklahoma, Texas, Miami, V. Tech, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Air Force, Georgia, Michigan, and Oregon. Now, if Miami loses, I will create a new list because the season will become the best season of all-time. Washington State will be the first team to be added back into the mix.
Tennessee, Florida, Kansas State, Texas, and even Oklahoma have now turned this season upside down. As much as I like Oklahoma(since I graduated from there), I have to admit that they are the most overrated team right now. However, Texas also proved that they don't belong there, so did Florida and Tenn. This weekend's game will match two top teams according to the polls, but if you are a living a breathing creature with more than three brain cells that work, you know that these two teams are very lucky to not have one loss so far. Alabama, and Oklahoma State will back me up on that I believe. So, if Oklahoma and Texas do not belong there, who does? That's simple. Take the teams with the most national tradition, add the coaches that have been hired and divide by the coaches fired, then multipy the factoral wins the opponents have against the teams the team have beaten and then subtract 144 or the square of 12, and finally take the fourth order integral of that from 1 to infinity.
Now you have been filled in on the way the poll voters have been voting for years and you will not have to wait until the polls come out because you will be able to calculate it at home. Happy Calculating.
Next week is so full of games that will be amazing, I don't know if I will survive. So I will stop right here, remember if you need help on your picks or you have questions on calculating email me at gugals@toid.net and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Keep on Rockin in the Free World.
